Matilda Butler is an artist and filmmaker from the UK, working across film, installation, sculpture photography and sound. Her current work often explores the landscape and communities of Cornwall and South Devon, where she grew up. Utilising 16mm film, sound, and installation, she creates immersive experiences that weave together fragments of voice, field recordings and sculpture. Encouraging reflection on how place is shaped by industrial and political histories, cultural narratives, and collective experiences.
