Set in Cornwall, Konin (Rabbit) is a short, fictional film performed in the Cornish language. The story follows a group of kids as they spend their last day together in their favourite field, before it disappears under a supermarket development. The group’s friendships are also being tested as they are growing apart. Considerably younger than the rest of the group, Pidge finds the change confusing and as the story unravels we discover that her perception of reality isn’t quite as it seems. The film explores themes of loss, friendship and the inevitability of change.
